Jack R. Wolff

Brian Johnson

Jack R. Wolff specializes in retirement account planning with the focus on providing comprehensive financial and estate planning for clients 55 and older.

Jack's first priority is helping his clients make informed financial decisions to pursue their distinct personal goals. Jack works closely with his clients to develop, implement and manage personalized financial solutions. In 2008, Jack founded the Retirement Resource Center to conduct free workshops to help those 55 and older learn strategies designed to protect assets, increase income potential, reduce taxes and develop thorough estate plans.

Jack's career in the Financial Services profession began in 1968. His first 14 years were spent with IBM, working with the company's Finance Industry headquarters in Princeton, NJ. In 1983, Jack and his family moved to Sarasota where he began his current career as a Financial Planning Advisor.

Volunteer Activities: Jack is involved with both local and international non-profit organizations. He is most proud of establishing The Wolff Family Scholarship Program which provides qualified area graduating high school seniors a 4-year college scholarship.

Personal Information: A former marathon runner and current avid swimmer, most of Jack's personal time is dedicated to his family: his wife Marilyn, their two sons Marc and Dan and their grandchildren, Allie, Joshua, Zoe, Nina and Josie.


Daniel J. Wolff, CFA

Daniel J. Wolff, CFA, is a wealth management specialist focused primarily on financial planning (investments/insurance), as well as advanced estate and tax planning.

Dan regularly conducts area workshops, educating and working with the over-55 population on strategies designed to protect assets and income without foregoing growth opportunities, to implement tax efficient investing strategies, and to establish and/or fine-tune existing estate plans. IFS is an independent financial services firm that is 100% client-focused and maintains no allegiances and alliances with any fund managers, insurance companies, or investment banks. This independence is critical in fostering a close relationship with our clients as we work together to develop, implement and manage solutions directed at meeting and exceeding our clients short and long term goals.

Dan has been active in the corporate and retail finance industry since 1991 when he received his securities license. Prior to focusing his efforts on financial planning, he spent a number of years working as a corporate and investment banker underwriting fixed income securities for entities ranging from small municipalities to Fortune 500 companies.

Qualifications: Dan earned his undergraduate degree from University of Florida, his MBA from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and is a CFA Charterholder (Chartered Financial Analyst) and an active member of the CFA Tampa Bay Society.

Dan has also trained under Ed Slott, author and the host of the PBS special with the same title. Mr. Slott is a Certified Public Accountant, tax advisor, and recognized by the Wall St. Journal as America's leading IRA authority.

Personal information:

Dan grew up in Sarasota after moving to the area from New Jersey in 1983. Outside of work, he spends the majority of his time with his family including his wife, Janelle and 3 daughters, Zoe, Nina & Josie.



Tina Ross

Tina Ross: Tina joined Investment Financial Services Inc. in August 2004 as a Sales Assistant to Jack assisting with client and office duties. Prior to coming to IFS Tina worked as an Office and Accounting Manager. Tina holds an AA degree from MCC.

Tina moved to Florida from Ohio in 1983. She has been married for 16 years and together they enjoy attending classic car shows to show their 1967 Camaro and have been Tampa Bay Buccaneer season ticket holders since 1987.

 



Cheryl Nord

Cheryl Nord: Cheryl joined Investment Financial Services in 2011 as a Registered Office Assistant providing support services for IFS's financial advisors. She is Series 7 licensed and has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years in branch office operations, advisor support, and customer service. Cheryl's current responsibilities at IFS primarily involve marketing support, regulatory compliance, trading and back-office operations, as well as numerous other key functions.

Cheryl grew up in Port Charlotte and most recently lived in Indianapolis, Indiana for 9 years. She moved back to the Sarasota-Bradenton area in 2010 to be closer to her family.

Sharon joined Investment Financial Services, Inc. in April of 2003 as Director of Marketing. Since that time, she has earned a Life, Health and Annuity License for the state of Florida. Her duties now encompass client support, event planning and a wide array of clerical duties. Sharon brings with her extensive management and client support experience from her previous career endeavors.

Sharon moved from the Cleveland, Ohio area to Sarasota, FL with her husband Doug in 1993. She is delighted and grateful to be living in "paradise.
